Afghan president visits Sochi

Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Foreign Minister Ahmad Moqbel Zarar Osmani and Presidential Advisor for National Security Rangin Dadfar Spanta are on a visit to Sochi for the opening of the Olympic Games, ITAR-TASS reports.

Karzai will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Secretary General of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping.

Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko said that up to 70 leaders of countries will visit the Olympic Games.
