Over 2600 artists to take part in Sochi Olympic opening

2635 artists will take part in the opening of the Sochi Olympic Games at the Fisht Stadium in the Olympic Park at 8.14pm today, Championat.com reports.

There will be 1200 dancers, 980 acrobats, 200 young singers and aerial gymnasts, 25 puppeteers, 12 opera singers and 10 ballet dancers. A total of 5610 artists will perform throughout the Olympic Games.

Opera singer Anna Netrebko will participate in the opening. The Not Gonna Get US song by t.A.T.u. will be performed. The show will take 2.5 hours.
