Switzerland's Cologna wins Olympic gold medal in skiathlon

Swiss athlete Dario Cologna has won the gold medal at the men's 15-kilometer Classic/15-kilometer free skiathlon at the Sochi Olympic games on Sunday, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Cologna finished in 1 hour, 8 minutes, 15.4 seconds for his second Olympic gold medal. Marcus Hellner from Sweden was 0.4 seconds behind to win silver, with Martin Johnsrud Sundby of Norway taking bronze.
