US Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman to visit Geneva

US Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will visit Geneva to coordinate the second round of inter-Syrian talks that start today, RIA Novosti reports.

US Ambassador to Syria Robert Ford remains the main coordinator of the US delegation.

It will be Ford’s last round. He said in early February that he was planning to resign. Sherman may meet Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov within the framework of the Geneva talks.
