Iran responds to US threats with new missiles

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan said that tests of surface-to-surface and air-to-surface missiles with Bina guidance and the new generation of mid-range missiles yesterday were a response to US military threats, ITAR-TASS reports.The minister added that the Armed Forces and the Islamic Republic would be glad to see Americans test themselves in a military confrontation with Iran.The missiles were tested to mark the 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.Dehghan noted that the missiles were capable of attacking bridges, tanks, other military vehicles, command centers. They are the first highly accurate national weapons of Iran.
