Germany's Eric Frenzel wins gold medal in Nordic combined

25-year-old German athlete Eric Frenzel won the gold medal on Wednesday in the Nordic combined individual normal hill at the 2014 Winter Olympic games held in the Russian city of Sochi.

Japan's Akito Vatabe took silver, while Magnus Krog of Norway earned bronze.
