Turkish pipelines to be protected by UAVs

All oil and gas pipelines in Turkey will be protected by Israeli 'Heron' unmanned aerial vehicles, 1news.az reports. The operation is now being coordinated by the ministries of energy and the interior and the General Staff.

These aircraft have demonstrated maximum efficiency in counter-terrorist operations, so are presumed to be the best means of protecting pipelines from Kurdish terrorists who have recently intensified their attacks.
