Gold miners on strike in Georgia

Gold miners of RMG Copper and RMG Gold in Kazreti (Bolnisi District, Georgia) are on strike, Trend reports.

They are backed by the trade union of metallurgists, workers of the chemical and mining industry. They all plan to make daily protests at the center of Bolnisi until they get better labour contracts.

The protesters demand the companies to hire back the 180 redundant workers booted over financial problems.
