Czech athlete wins women's snowboard cross gold

Czech Republic's Eva Samkova has won the Olympic gold in the women's snowboard cross in Sochi. Silver went to Dominique Maltais of Canada with Chloe Trespeuch of France taking bronze, the BBC reports.
