Ambassador of Georgia meets with president of Germany

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Lado Chanturia has met with President of Germany Joachim Gauck.

The parties discussed the state of relations between the two countries, democratic reforms undertaken in Georgia, Tbilisi's orientation towards Europe and Euro-Atlantic structures and the role of Berlin in the process. In particular, the president and the ambassador talked about the signing of an Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia.
