The official visit to Israel of the Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov, who arrived in the country leading a group of prominent Azerbaijani specialists in this field, is over. They met with the Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who noted the critical importance of the development of relations with Azerbaijan for Israel and expressed confidence that he will visit Baku, the city he now loves so much, more than once again.

On the final evening of the visit, the Minister of Agriculture of Israel Yair Shamir gave a dinner in honor of Heydar Asadov. During it, the colleagues discussed joint projects in the field of development of livestock, poultry and greenhouse crops, and also talked about the possibility of exchange of experience and expertise in the field of agriculture.

Prior to this, the Azerbaijani delegation had visited several Israeli farms specializing in the creation of new technologies for breeding cows, turkeys, growing fruit and vegetables in greenhouses etc.

There was also a reception in honor of the guests at the Chamber of Commerce Israel-Azerbaijan, which was attended by representatives of leading Israeli biotechnology and farming companies. "It was a very friendly and extremely busy business trip - said the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Azerbaijan-Israel, Arie Mishnah. - The warmth, openness and mutual sympathy, which accompanied all the meetings, is difficult to describe in words. At the same time, the Azerbaijani visitors asked a lot of questions of their Israeli colleagues, checked numbers, went into details that may be of interest only for specialists. But that is the only way to move forward."

It is essential to remember that Israel is the recognized world leader in many areas of agriculture, and this visit will certainly bear fruit - both figuratively and in a very literal sense.
