Russian helicopter squadron to be stationed in Armenia

Russia plans to station its helicopter squadron at an air base in the Southern Military District in Armenia. The construction of military and special facilities for army aviation pilots has already begun on the military airfield Erebuni.

The squadron will consist of helicopters Mi-24P, Mi- 8MTs and Mi- 8SMV, RIA Novosti reports.
