Iran will hold an international nuclear disarmament conference in
April. This was announced by Saeed Jalili, Iran's top nuclear
negotiator, after meeting with Chinese authorities. According to him,
China decided to attend the meeting in Teheran, reports the BBC.

The main point of the conference will be elimination of nuclear
weapons around the world, announced Iranian foreign minister
Manouchehr Mottaki.

"We consider that all countries should aim for complete nuclear
disarmament. No exceptions can be made", - he told journalists as he
returned to Teheran from a tour of Africa. "Negotiations on nuclear
disarmament also apply to the nuclear states. Among them are the five
permanent members of the UN Security Council".

The conference, entitled "Nuclear energy for everyone, nuclear weapons
for no one" will be held on April 17th and 18th. Iranian Foreign
Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast announced that representatives
of various countries, international organizations and NGO's have been
invited to the conference.

During the two-day conference Iranian president Ahmedinajad and the
head of Iran's Atomic Energy Agency Akbar Salehi will make reports.
Iranian innovations in nuclear engineering will be demonstrated.
