Circassians welcome Sochi games

The Circassian people welcome the Olympic games and do not support political tensions surrounding the Circassian issue, member of the Institute for Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Fasikh Baderkhan says.

"The Circassians understand that the political game over the Circassian issue is not beneficial for them," he says.

According to the expert, 95 percent of the Circassian people believe the Sochi games were a good thing.
