Monument to Pushkin unveiled in south Russia's Nalchik

A monument to Alexander Pushkin was unveiled today in south Russia's Nalchik. The Minister of Culture of Kabardino-Balkaria Ruslan Firov pointed out the significance of the event. The chairman of the Russian Writers Union, Valery Ganichev, noted the Caucasus themes in Pushkin's verse. Alexander Voytov, director of the IBC Promstroy, financed the monument.
