Chief of Ukrainian General Staff dismissed

Alexander Turchinov, Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament and Acting President, has dismissed Yuri Ilyin, Chief of the General Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, RIA Novosti reports.

Ilyin was planning consultations with the head of the Sevastopol administration Fedor Rubanov. The visit was cancelled.
