Russia's young gymnasts come first in elimination contest for Youth Olympics

The young Russian women's gymnast team came first in the elimination contest for the Second Youth Olympics scheduled to be held in Nanking this year. Athletes from thirty countries of the former USSR, Central and Western Europe took part in the contest. 

Russian gymnast Yulia Baranikova won the first prize, her compatriot Veronika Polyakova won silver and Maria Trubach from Belarus won bronze.
