Tatarstan mufti calls for peaceful solution to Ukrainian crisis

Kamil Samigullin, Head of the Tatarstan Muslim Administration, met with representatives of the Crimean Tatars yesterday and called for a peaceful solution to the situation in Ukraine, ITAR-TASS reports.Deputy Mufti Rustam Batrov who is currently in Simferopol, said that Samigullin met with elders of the Crimean-Tatar people and Rifat Chubarov, Head of the Majlis. Samigullin emphasized that the situation in the Crimea should be resolved peacefully.Samigullin is on his way to Moscow.
