Russia plans to buy back part of the Sochi Olympic facilities

On the question of who will manage the Olympic venues after the Games, and the costs to their content, the official says that "this work is conducted by the Ministry of Sports," Prime quotes him.
"I spoke with the Minister, and he has an understanding about the responsibility for different objects. Some of them have instructions on how to use them correctly. Some of the objects will be acquired into federal ownership. We have adopted a program on the Olympic legacy. If needed, we will make adjustments and consider who owes how much to whom and how much can be spent on certain objects," Shuvalov said.
At the same time, he has not announced the final cost of the Olympics. "This work is just to begin in the coming weeks. I believe that until the summer of this work will be done, and we will know the exact figures," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Late last year Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the transfer of Olympic venues built in Sochi by the state corporation "Olimpstroi" to state and municipal property. The document envisages the donation of 47 objects.
