Turkey invites physicians

In Turkey, there is an acute shortage of physician, says Deputy Health Minister Zafer Cukurova, the Turkish news agency "Anatolia" reports today.

According to Cukurova, more than two thousand Turkish physicians work abroad, and now the ministry is negotiating with them so that they will return to the country, Trend reports.

Recall that in December last year  Ankara urged Turkish physicians working abroad to return home. Today the country needs more than 20 thousand physicians, but due to the economic crisis in Greece seven thousand physicians have been invited to work in Turkey.

In 2013,443 physicians turned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry for work in the medical field.
