Georgia discusses cooperation with Kiev

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania has discussed the situation in Ukraine with its Acting Defense Minister Ihor Tenyukh, News Georgia reports.

The Georgian minister expressed hope for a peaceful solution to the crisis. The sides discussed strategic partnership and prospects for the future. They agreed to stay in constant contact.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry expressed readiness to work with the new Ukrainian government.
