Heads of Customs Union discuss Ukraine crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin has had telephone conversations with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, ITAR-TASS reports.

They talked about the crisis in Ukraine, the situation in Crimea and the eastern regions of Ukraine and the interests of Russian speakers. The events in Ukraine worries members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, in terms of economic and humanitarian repercussions.

The three presidents decided to stay in contact.
