Ukraine continues paying gas debts to Gazprom

A Gazprom official in London has confirmed that the company was receiving payments for gas sold to Ukraine, despite certain delays, ITAR-TASS reports.

He added that transit of gas through Ukraine continued.

Ukraine owes over $1.5 billion for Russian gas. The country plans to pay $400 million more for the gas in the near future.
