Syria gets rid of a third of its chemical weapons

Sigrid Kaag, Head of the UN and OPCW mission in Syria, has stated that Damascus has disposed of a third of its chemical weapons, Gazeta.ru reports.

Syria previously held a total of 1,300 tons of chemical weapons.
