EU ready to impose limited sanctions on Russia

The European Union is ready to impose limited sanctions on Russia if the country continues its aggression against Ukraine, European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle says.

"There are many serious factors, which can stop bloodshed in Ukraine. (...) The foreign ministers of the EU member-states have announced that if Russia continues its aggressive policy towards Ukraine, the European Union will without doubt take limited and targeted measures," the European official is quoted as saying.
