Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Energy Bridge to be launched in 2014

The Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Energy Bridge will be launched this year, said Etibar Pirverdiyev, Head of Azerenergy, Trend reports.The power line from Mingachevir to the Georgian border and on the Georgian territory is ready.According to the project, Turkey will receive 1200MW of electricity, 600MW of them from Azerbaijan. Turkey plans to export up to 2,000MW of electricity to Europe annually.
