Azerbaijani president fires rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has fired the rector of the Azerbaijan State Economic University, Shamsaddin Gadzhiyev, and appointed Adalyat Muradov as the new head of the educational institution.

Muradov previously served in the country's Ministry of Economy.
