Putin calls for agreement on Armenia's membership in Eurasian Economic Union

Russian President Vladimir Putin says the time has come to draft an agreement on Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union. The remarks were made today at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council attended by presidents of Kazakhstan and Belarus. 

Armenia has previously voiced its plans to join the body.
