North Ossetian leader says Olympic Games promote sports in republic

North Ossetian Leader Taymuraz Mamsurov said that the Olympic Games in Sochi helped popularize mass sports in the republic, Interfax reports.

He noted that 26,000 more people decided to start doing sport in 2013, making a total of over 130,000.
