Georgian interior minister denies wiretaps in country

Georgian Interior Minister Alexander Chikaidze has denied Ombudsman Uchi Nanuashvili’s statement about a thousand wiretaps in the country, Tbilisskaya Nedelya reports.

Chikaidze said that the Interior Ministry was the protector of the rights, life and health of people. He added that there were consultations to settle the wiretap issue.
