283,000 tickets sold for Sochi Paralympic Games

Over 283,000 tickets have been sold for the Sochi Paralympic Games, exceeding the number of tickets sold for the Vancouver Games in 2010, says Alexander Kosterina, Vice President of the Sochi-2014 Organizing Committee, ITAR-TASS reports.

Philipp Craven, President of the International Paralympic Committee, admitted in October 2013 that there could be a deficit of tickets. The situation changed 5 months before the start of the Games.
