Ukraine denies break of diplomatic ties with Russia

Vasily Zvarich, Deputy Director of the Department for Information Policy of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, has denied today’s mass media rumours about broken diplomatic relations between Moscow and Kiev, Укрiнформ reports.

Zvarich noted that the quote of Russian Permanent Representative to the UN was misinterpreted by translators and what Churkin had said meant that Russia will refrain from political contacts with the new government of Ukraine.
