Turkey won't ban Facebook or YouTube

Turkish President Abdullah Gul says it's impossible to ban Facebook and YouTube. He stresses however that the Turkish authorities will prosecute those who violate the country's laws while using social networks. 

"Everything which is a crime, according to the current law, should be considered a crime online as well," he said.
