Moscow hosts conference on regional development of Caspian states

Moscow is hosting a conference today entitled “Prospects of regional development of Caspian states in the context of the five-sided cooperation of countries of the Caspian,” organized by the Institute for Caspian Cooperation before the Astrakhan summit.

Sergey Mikheyev, Director General of the Institute, said that countries could have used the Caspian Region more efficiently. He believes that they will find solutions to delimitation of the sea.

Russian, Azerbaijani, Kazakh and Iranian experts attend the conference. A collection of their speeches will be published.
