10% of Federation Council members may be appointed by Russian president

The LDPR, CPRF and A Fair Russia Party (91 MPs in total) introduced a bill allowing the Russian president to appoint 10% of the Federation Council members, ITAR-TASS reports.

The number of Russian representatives at the Federation Council will not exceed 10% of all the representatives in legislative and executive structures (the Federation Council has 166 members).
