Girl in Ulan-Ude named after Olympic Champion Sotnikova

A girl born in Ulan-Ude (Buryatia) on February 21 was named after Olympic figure-skating champion Adelina Sotnikova, UlanMedia.ru reports.

The girl’s parents believe that naming their child after a figure skater would help her achieve the same success as the Olympic champion.
