Ukraine crisis consolidates Turkish politicians

Farluk Logoglu, Deputy Head of the Turkish Republican People’s Party, said that the crisis in Ukraine and Crimea consolidated all Turkish parties. He noted that Turkish politicians spoke for territorial integrity and the sovereignty of Ukraine and believed that Ukrainians should decided their fate without interference of foreign forces.

Logoglu said that any facts of suppression of the Russian-speaking population should be resolved by the Russian and Ukrainian governments. The official spoke out against transformation of Ukraine into a field of geopolitical games.

The politician expressed hope that the conflict would be settled without violence. He expressed confidence that there were no problems in the Black Sea that could not be resolved. Logoglu reminded that Turkey was solving security problems within the framework of the NATO and cooperation with Russia.
