Anti-Russian sanctions to hit Latvia

Latvian Minister for Economy Vyacheslav Dombrovsky said that anti-Russian sanctions the EU could pass against Russia would have an impact on Latvia, ITAR-TASS reports.

43% of Latvian exports, mainly food products, are purchased by Russia. Latvia is dependent on Russian gas. 70% of all transit shipments are connected with Russia.

Armenian Minister for Economy Vagram Avanesyan has expressed similar fears.
