Russia to monitor Georgia’s Borjomi quality
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Russian Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare has reached an agreement with the Borjomi Company (Georgia) to monitor quality of its mineral water. The Federal Agency and Borjomi discussed quality and safety of the mineral water yesterday, News Georgia reports.
Russia imposed an embargo on Georgian products in 2006. Trade renewed in May 2013. Russia started exports of Borjomi in spring 2013, exports of Georgian wine and cognac started in June.
