TANAP may become most important project in the region, Turkish minister says

In case of suspension of Russian gas exports to Turkey due to the situation surrounding Ukraine, the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline project (TANAP) may become the most important one in the whole region, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz is quoted by Trend as saying on March 18.

Turkey and Azerbaijan are now working on the implementation of the project, the minister says.
