Russia to spend 250 billion rubles on football development

According to the new Development Strategy for Realization of the Basic Objectives in Russian Football until 2020, about 250 billion rubles will be spent on formation of modern infrastructure for football sports, training staff for the football industry, realization of education and science projects, modernization of competition systems, Sports.ru reports.

The sum will be collected from federal and regional budgets and investments. About 80% of the funds will be spent on construction of stadiums, reconstruction and equipment of sports centers.
