Crimea may be renamed to Tavrida

An LDPR member Mikhail Degtyaev sent a letter to Speaker of the Crimean State Council Vladimir Konstantinov with a proposal to rename Crimea to Tavrida, its historic name.

He said that the Constitution allows the peninsula to bear two names: Tavrida and Crimea.
