US company to monitor refinery reconstruction in Turkmenistan

According to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s decree, a contract will be signed with General Electric International Inc. (USA) to monitor reconstruction of the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex, Trend reports.

The US company will monitor high-temperature gas communications, capital reconstruction of a gas turbine station at the refinery and purchase of parts for the power plant.

The monitoring process will be organized within the framework of the Program for Development of Turkmen Oil and Gas Industry until 2030.
