Russia-EU summit cancelled
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaPresident of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy said that the blacklist of Russians banned from visiting EU countries was expanded from 21 to 33 names. Their accounts will be frozen. The EU has not decided to impose any economic sanctions on Russia yet, ITAR-TASS reports.
The Russia-EU summit set for June was cancelled. Europe demands de-escalation of the Ukraine crisis and return of its territories. Rompuy demanded the OSCE to send a mission to Ukraine.
President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso admitted that no trade or economic sanctions had been imposed on Russia. The European Commission was ordered to develop trade and economic sanctions against Crimea and work on reducing energy dependence on Russia.
