Zurab Zhvania case may be solved soon
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgy Zhvania, brother of former Georgian prime minister Zurab Zhvania, who died nine years ago, said this week the investigation is close to its end and the case may be solved soon.
Zurab Zhvania was found dead by former minister for European integration Georgy Baramidze in 2005. According to the official version, Zhvania died of carbon monoxide poisoning. However some believe he could have been murdered.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has recently voiced his fear that Zhvania's death may in fact be a case of murder. Baramidze insists however that the authorities have to charge someone with murder or stop such speculations.
