Karachay-Cherkessia to form cadet corps of Ministry for Emergencies

Karachay-Cherkessian Leader Rashid Temrezov proposed formation of the cadet corps of the Ministry for Emergencies, ITAR-TASS reports.

Temrezov proposed the idea at a meeting with Russian Ministry for Emergencies Vladimir Puchkov. They discussed fire safety in the region.

According to Kazbek Chekhov, Minister for Emergencies of Karachay-Cherkessia, additional 50 people will join the fire service. He added that formation of a helicopter group stationed in Arkhyz will be considered. The sides said at the meeting that the republic needed a new Center for Crisis Management and the Chief Directorate of the Ministry for Emergencies in Karachay-Cherkessia.
