Russia sees religious intolerance in Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that attacks on priests were a sign of national and confessional intolerance in the country, ITAR-TASS reports.

The ministry notes that the National Socialist Labor Party of Ukraine sent a letter with threats to Abbot Alex Shirokov of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (Cherkessk Eparchy).

The priest was demanded to stop all pro-Moscow agitation, otherwise he and his family would face consequences.
