UK to buy Russian gas directly

Centrica, the British energy company owning British Gas, plans to start direct gas imports from Russia in October 2014, despite threats of European countries to impose sanctions on Russia over the Ukraine crisis, Huffington Post reports.

British gas extraction drops by 7% every year. The UK imports Russian gas from Germany and other European countries.
