FC Alania to be kicked out of Russian Football Union

The executive committee of the Russian Football Union has proposed kicking FC Alania out of the organization over its inability to meet standards and loss of status of a professional football club, Yuga.ru reports.Alania was not allowed to participate in the Russian Championship and lost its status of a legal body in February. Spokesman of the Alania director general Alexander Stelmakh said on February 11 that the club was bankrupt due to refusal of RusHydro to sponsor it.Alania will be replaced with FC Arsenal (Tula).
