Kadyrov becomes head, not president, of Chechen Republic

President Ramzan Kadyrov, RIA Novosti reports.
Kadyrov requested the parliament to change the name of his post on
August 12th. The motive for the initiative is that only one person in
Russia has the right to be called the president. Kadyrov noted that he
would accept any term, except for 'president'.
The Chechen parliament has decided to consider the issue on Thursday
and passed amendments to the Constitution, renaming the position.
Kadyrov will now be known as the head of the republic.
